Those of you that know me, know that I’ve been a Oakland Raider football fan since the ‘70’s.
I am happy to inform you that yesterday, on Monday Night Football, the Oakland Raiders won their opening game verses the Denver Broncos ( I will refer to them as the Donkeys from here on. Be warned ).
While the final scoreboard only showed a 3 point difference, my team had dominated the donkeys with defense and the running game in the donkey’s own stadium, on opening night, on national TV!!!
Don’t get me wrong. I have great respect for all of our AFC West rivals. And I’m sure that we probably will not repeat last years 6 – 0 shellacking of our division opponents, but winning ugly is still a win! I don’t mind ugly if winning is in there somewhere!
