Saturday night I left my cell phone in the back of my brother-in-law’s car. I was able to call a friend by borrowing a phone and found the number on my PDA, the only number I could find, and asked if he could call and tell them where my phone was at. Since all of them were going to Disneyland that day it would have been pretty easy to give the phone to my sister-in-law to give to me because she lives here in town while everyone else does not. I haven’t heard from them, no cell phone, and my cell phone has not magically reappeared…
sooooo, I’m using Facebook and emails to try and contact them. I don’t have my house phone anymore and if I did, I don’t know if I would have their number to call.
How did we do it before? I guess that’s why they invented answering machines and everyone had an address book by the phone and the yellow pages too!
How many times have you gone to the store and instead of making a list you say to yourself, “self, if you can’t remember you can just call.” Has technology made us take things too much for granted?
Hmmmmmm?

I beleive in some respects that thcnology has hindered us and in others it has made us better. You can find so much on the internet and if you read it you learn new things. As for our phones now you can't remember any phone no. unless they have had the phone no. for alot of years.
